Robert Landsfield

Robert Landsfield is chief exceutive officer of Skymira, which he founded in 1998. Landsfield's vision and constant quest to create solutions that streamline the processes of companies that rely heavily on remote workers and equipment has made him one of the most influential leaders in the evolving remote asset management industry.

Prior to founding Skymira, Landsfield spent almost a decade sailing as a ships officer, working chemical and crude tankers in the U.S. Gulf, West Coast and Alaskan trades. Landsfield also applied his business acumen to the recycling industry, overseeing the logistics, truck fleet management and remote production operations of Hugo Neu Proler, one of the largest steel recycling firms in the U.S.

Landsfield holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the State University of New York Maritime College, an MBA from the University of Rhode Island and a Merchant Marine Unlimited Master License.

Roy Lund

Roy Lund is sales director at Skymira and has a comprehensive background in information technology development for remote information management solutions. He is responsible for business development and customer project implementation at Skymira. Lund’s career spans over twenty- seven years, working at firms from Fortune 500 to the leading names in the maritime industry.

Prior to joining Skymira, Lund managed vessel and shore IT development at Kirby Corporation, deploying Kirby’s first vessel satellite communications system and providing support for over seven hundred vessel crewmembers on two hundred and twenty tugboats.

Lund holds a B.A. degree in business administration from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
